Welcome, Monica here. This box was made for introductions but I suck at those so I won't bother trying to sum myself up in a few words. On this blog, I will ramble lots about life; trying to capture some of the thoughts which race through my mind, weave them into pretty words and post them here :)

Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 8:02 PM

I don't own many necklaces and I've been meaning to stock up on some. Thanks to the recent pre-christmas sales and buy one get one free offer, I have managed to grab a whole lot of jewellry :D

Necklaces from eQUIP

I'm very lazy when it comes to wearing nail polish but I've decided to build up my collection as I love these colours. I went a bit crazy on the rings today aha :3

Rings from Lovisa

Bracelets from Diva

Had a pretty sweet day today. I'm going to avoid using the escalator wherever I can and instead, take the stairs. They both take the same amount of time so you might as well burn some calories while you're at it :) Also, while walking down an alleyway in Rundle Mall today, I walked past a violinist. I only heard him for a few seconds but thought it was beautiful so I stopped to give him a few coins. He winked and smiled at me. I smiled back and continued to walk off. It has also never really occurred to me that it's nice to stop and listen to the musicians who play in Rundle Mall (thoughts triggered from something I read awhile ago:

The performers who stand out in the open do get lots of attention but what about those in the alleyways? I noticed everyone just walks past while they continue to play.. some are nice enough to support them but how many stop to appreciate the music? Why do people even place coins in the first place? Has it just become apart of etiquette? And so, I turned around to stand nearby and listen. It was quite sad actually. People continued to walk past yet he continued to play happily. It was just really beautiful because he seemed so content and at such peace n__n Funny how small things can make your day...
